A Haunted House Halloween Party Benefiting the Cool Kids Campaign

Saturday, October 31st from 6:30 pm until Midnight            

Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble. The Old Line Society welcomes you to an evening of Tricks on the dance floor and Treats at the bar….all in support of Cool Kids Campaign.

We’ll get this Haunted House rocking with the sounds of the Short Notice Brass Band, a 6 piece New Orleans style jazz band that’ll have those Halloween bones bumping. 1283887_orig

Headlining the evening is Maryland’s own Vinyl Rhino, named Best Band in Frederick and nominated for this year’s Maryland Music Awards. Playing everything from Miley Cyrus to Michael Jackson, these guys will have creatures and cheerleaders crawling the dance floor a hootin and a howlin. Costumes strongly encouraged

UPDATE: Shuttle Service will be provided to the Valley Inn after party. Bus transportation will also be available from the Valley Inn to Harbor East. 

TICKETS will be limited due to capacity limitations and are first come, first served. Physical tickets will be sent free of charge via U.S. Mail to the mailing address provided (Print-at-Home tickets enabled after 10/25). Tickets must be provided at the door for entry. No will call.

100% of the proceeds from Nightmare in the Valley will benefit Cool Kids Campaign, a charitable foundation devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients and their families by focusing on the academic, social and emotional needs brought on by a cancer diagnosis.Cancer creates an instant crisis in a family. Fear and anxiety are the first emotions young people may feel after learning of their illness and what they are about to face. Kids with cancer are still normal kids! The Cool Kids program’s focus is guided by the direct feedback it receives from affected families and advice from the Cool Kids Advisory Committees. For more information, check out

The Horseman syndicate ($20 buy-in) and the Wire-to-Wire syndicate ($40) are two ways to participate in the calcutta at a lower cost by pooling together funds with other syndicate-members to purchase a horse in the auction.
